Some of the attractions we visit include:

The Twelve Apostles

One of Australia’s most well-known views. Marvel at the sight of the magnificent limestone sea stacks that rise from the Southern Ocean and form the official Twelve Apostles.

Created by the constant erosion of limestone cliffs over 10-20 millions years ago, these monoliths have faced the stormy Southern Ocean and gusty winds that have gradually worn away the softer limestone, forming caves in the cliffs, then arches, until rock stacks up to 45 metres high have been crafted, completely isolated from the shore. Spectacular beauty.

Grampians National Park

The Aboriginal name for the Grampians is ‘Gariwerd’. The Park is the largest in Victoria at 100km long by 50km wide and was formed over 400 million years of folding, faulting and erosion of the earths surfaces, which has resulted in spectacular sandstone ridges and unusual rock formations. The Park is host to a vast array of flora, fauna and wildlife.

Travel to the different sights, complete a walk or spend all day exploring one area…the choices are endless. The Grampians provides an unforgettable experience, dramatic peaks, panoramic views and an ancient rugged landscape.

Loch Ard Gorge

The Loch Ard Gorge is a favourite stop off point along the Great Ocean Road. The picturesque gorge is flanked by two yellow-washed cliff faces, a smooth bay and inlet of clear, blue water.  Wander the trail down to the Gorge, take in the natural beauty and view the location of Australia’s most famous shipwreck - the Loch Ard - and hear it’s story of loss and survival. Loch Ard Gorge is the start of the Apostles from the opposite end, where you can also see the Razor Back and Honey Pots rock formations

London Bridge

This limestone archway once looked like its namesake, however on January 15th, 1990, the center collapsed. Two visitors had just crossed the arch and had to be rescued from the isolated outcrop.

The Grotto

Formed as a sinkhole, floored with fallen boulders and opening seaward through an archway to a ledge with a marine pool a few metres above sea level.

Bay of Martyrs

Catch a glimpse of the spectacular views which encompass lush cliff faces, sprawling beaches and sparkling waters. According to stories the Bay of Martyrs has a dark side and is where Europeans killed a large group of Karrae-Wurrong Aboriginal men here.

Allansford Cheese World

Enjoy complimentary cheese tasting from the award winning Warrnambool Heritage cheese varieties.

Warrnambool

A beautiful regional centre, rich in maritime history and spectacular beauty, it marks the western end of the Great Ocean Road. Spend time viewing whales in the ocean, visit the whale nursery and checkout Tower Hill.

Halls Gap

A small town in the lush surrounds of the Grampians. Walk the Chataququa Peak Loop. This is a medium grade walking track 5.6km circuit. This track passes through open forest to the foot of the Clematis Falls.

Boronia Peak

This is a medium grade walking track of 6.6kms return. Follow the track across Fyans Creek footbridge and begin the steady climb through tall Messmate forest and native pines, along the Western slope of the Mt William range. At the summit, the views towards Lake Fyans and the Fyans Valley are spectacular.

Brambuk Aboriginal Cultural Centre

Ownership of Brambuk is shared between five aboriginal communities with historic links to the Gariwerd-Grampians ranges and the surrounding plains. Time permitting, maybe wander along the short 30 minute walk.

Boroka Lookout – Jaws of Death

Walk to the lookout platform and revel in the 180 degree views of Western Victoria, looking over Halls Gap and Lake Bellfield.

Mckenzie Falls

Take the walk down to the bottom of the falls to experience the magnificent views.
